Ingredients:
- Apples: 2 psc;
- Ready-made puff pastry: 400 g;
- Butter: 30 g;
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons;
- Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon;
- Almond flakes/petals: 30 g;
- Powdered sugar: for garnish;

1. Prepare the Apples
Wash the apples thoroughly and pat them dry. Use a coring tool to remove the cores, then cut the apples in half. Slice each half thinly into even, crosswise pieces for easy layering.

2. Roll Out the Puff Pastry
Take the ready-made puff pastry and roll it out slightly on a clean surface to make it easier to work with.

3. Add the Filling
Spread a thin layer of softened butter evenly over the surface of the pastry. Sprinkle with sugar, a generous pinch of cinnamon, and almond flakes. Make sure the toppings are spread evenly for consistent flavor.

4. Shape the Snails
Carefully roll up the pastry into a tight log. Once rolled, slice the log into spirals about 2–3 cm (1 inch) thick. These will become your “snail” shapes.

5. Prepare for Baking
Place the pastry snails onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with butter. Make sure to leave some space between each piece to allow for puffing during baking.

6. Optional Sweet Touch
If you’d like extra sweetness, sprinkle the tops of the snails with a little sugar before baking.

7. Bake to Perfection
Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F). Bake the snails for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown. During baking, you can brush the snails with their own juices for added flavor and shine.

8. Finish and Serve
Once baked, remove the snails from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. For a final touch, dust them with powdered sugar for an elegant presentation.
