Ready to enjoy in just 30 minutes, this cucumber salad is perfect for busy days when you want something fresh and healthy.
1. Prepare the cucumbers:
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and pat them dry. Cut off the ends of the cucumbers.
2. Cut the cucumbers:
If the cucumbers are small, cut them in half.
If they`re a bit larger, cut them into quarters.
For larger cucumbers, first slice them into pieces, then cut each piece into quarters.
3. Jar the cucumbers:
Place the cut cucumbers into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
4. Add seasonings:
Add the salt, garlic (dried or fresh), and dill (if using) to the jar.
5. Shake the jar:
Close the jar with the lid and shake it gently for about one minute. After that, shake the jar once every five minutes. As you shake, cucumber juice will begin to form.
6. Ready to serve:
After about 30 minutes, or a little longer, your cucumber appetizer or salad will be ready to enjoy!
